Beetles on the Brain

I made these beetle stencils for ArtRage eons ago and am surprised how much fun I’ve had with them…..I like the old-school university feel to them and will probably hunt down more of them to make soon.  Not the sort of graphic you’d want just anywhere, but plenty funky.

They started out as scientific specimen photos shared at Wikicommons.  Here is an example of using them in ArtRage with chalk for the fill-in and shading with a spraygun layer as well as the two stencils that you may use for whatever (just don’t claim you made them yourself).
